Daniel Defense offers the DDM4 Rail with an ergonomic design that gives better control to firearm operators. The rail system has limited rotation QD swivel attachment points on the front and rear of both sides for tangle-free attachment of slings. A continuous picatinny rail platform on top provides ample space for mounting sights and accessories.
The DDM4 Rail 10.0 is compatible with low profile gas blocks on barrels that are 11” and longer, with gas systems at mid-length or shorter. The rail system comes with all necessary hardware, including a barrel nut, bolt-up plate, and screws. It also comes with a barrel nut wrench and Allen wrench for installation, as well as 3 Daniel Defense Rail Ladders made of high temperature resistant Santoprene.
Key features of the rail system include a lightweight free-floating barrel design, a steel barrel nut, an uninterrupted upper rail platform, integral sling swivel attachment points with limited travel, a patented bolt-up system, and Mil-Spec 1913 Picatinny rails.
The rail system is constructed from aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum and finished with military specification Type III hard coat anodized. It is made in the USA.
Installation of the rail system requires the use of a bolt-up system barrel nut wrench and an Allen wrench, both of which are supplied with the rail system.
