For better torque transfer, the parallel ground tips should be adjusted to better fit the bottom of the slot where the screw is strongest. This will allow for use with a wide range of factory screws. In the case of buttstock screws or bolts, a #6 X-L with a 12" long shank is available. Forster provides a warranty for manufacturing defects but not for misuse or abuse due to the final use of the product.
