A reinforced post can be used to replace the front sling swivel stud for a more secure attachment point for quick-detach bipods. The post features two steel plates that increase the surface area for a tighter hold during heavy recoil and rough handling, compared to the standard swivel post. One plate fits in the barrel channel, while the other is placed outside of the stock. These two plates clamp together with a steel Allen head screw and threaded swivel stud. They can be permanently bedded in the stock to provide additional support. This post can accept all bipods that are compatible with the standard sling swivel stud.
