The ProTac HL-X is a tactical handheld flashlight capable of producing 1,000 lumens of light. It's available in two variations: a rechargeable system that comes with the SL-B26 protected Li-Ion USB rechargeable battery pack, which has an integrated micro USB port and includes a USB cord and nylon holster, or a non-rechargeable system that uses two CR123A lithium batteries and comes with a nylon holster.
This flashlight is a multi-fuel device that can use either the rechargeable Streamlight SL-B26 battery pack or the two CR123A lithium batteries. It's also equipped with TEN-TAP programming, which gives users a choice of three different selectable programs: high/strobe/low, high only, and low/medium/high.
Furthermore, the ProTac HL-X has different output settings, including high, medium, low, and strobe. On high, it emits 1,000 lumens of light and has a 330m beam, with a battery life of 1.25 hours with CR123A batteries or 1.5 hours with the SL-B26 battery pack. On medium, it has an output of 400 lumens and a 200m beam, with a runtime of 3 hours with CR123A batteries or 3.5 hours with the SL-B26 battery pack. On low, it produces a long-lasting light of 65 lumens and an 80m beam. It can run up to 20 hours with CR123A batteries and up to 23 hours with the SL-B26 battery pack. It also has a strobe function that's useful for signaling or disorienting, which can last up to 2.5 hours with CR123A batteries or 3.25 hours with the SL-B26 battery pack.
The ProTac HL-X has anodized aluminum construction that makes it durable, and it comes with an unbreakable pocket clip. It's IP68 rated, dust-tight, and waterproof up to 2m, with all openings o-ring sealed. It's also been tested for impact resistance up to 2m, has an anti-roll head design, and measures 5.43 in. (13.8 cm) and weighs 5.7 oz (162g) with CR123 batteries or 6.2 oz (176g) with the SL-B26 battery pack. Plus, it's RoHS compliant.
