Since nearly as many brushes are used in the shop as sold, this is a great option. These brushes have one-piece, looped and wound shanks (not two, twisted together and chopped off). Our nylon bore brushes are made to withstand the new generation bore cleaners that attack copper and bronze-based bullet jacket fouling aggressively, which also makes them effective on bronze cleaning brushes. They won't cause accuracy-ruining scratches. We use one-piece, looped and wound steel shanks, except for the Black Powder (BP) series, .17 caliber, and .20 caliber brushes which feature brass shanks.
