Brownells Government Barrel Assemblies are designed for M4 barrels and are manufactured to meet strict standards. These barrels come with a hard chrome bore applied over button rifling. Each barrel undergoes High Pressure Testing and is inspected using Magnetic Particle Inspection & Gauging to ensure perfection. The assemblies are ready-to-install and come with a slip ring assembly, F-Marked front sight base, and handguard cap pre-installed. The handguard caps are appropriate for the barrel length. The barrel material is 4150 chrome moly steel. All barrels have a 5.56x45mm chamber and a 1-7 twist for optimal performance with 62 grain and greater bullets. Each barrel is marked with “5.56x45mm NATO MFR 12238 MP HP 1-7”.
