These barrels are available in commonly used lengths of 10.4, 14.5 and 16 inch in either “heavy” or “medium” profile, ensuring barrel rigidity with minimal flex and making the rifle quite handy respectively. All the barrels have a 1-7 twist, commonly used ½-28 muzzle threads, and 5.56x45mm NATO chamberings for compatibility with commercially found ammunition as well as 223 Remington cartridges. The barrels have a deep black nitride finish that provides an extremely hard exterior and interior, and makes cleaning easy. It has a longer barrel extension to allow for a robust matchup to the upper receiver, and a simple install with the BRN-4 barrel nut (430-100-141). These barrels come with the same piston rod assembly (078-000-644), making it easy to choose. However, you need to pick the correct BRN-4 gas block to match your overall barrel length (078-000-708 & 078-000-709) and the gas block coil pins for final assembly (430-103-127).
