Introducing the Brownells BRN-4 HK® 416 compatible barrels. These barrels, available in a range of lengths and two contours, have historically been difficult to obtain but are now part of the BRN-4 lineup. Machined by Faxon, the barrels are a perfect fit with early generations of HK® 416 upper receivers and components, as well as the BRN-4 bolt carrier group and gas block (search “BRN-4” for all parts). The barrels are available in common lengths of 10.4, 14.5, and 16 inches, making them suitable for any requirement.

You can choose from the classic "heavy" profile, similar to earlier HK® 416 models, which ensures barrel rigidity with minimal flexibility. Alternatively, the new "medium" profile reduces weight and makes the rifle much more manageable. The barrels are button rifled with a 1-7 twist and have commonly used ½-28 muzzle threads. The BRN-4's longer barrel extension allows for a strong connection to the upper receiver and simple installation with the BRN-4 barrel nut (430-100-141).

Each barrel has the same piston rod assembly (078-000-644), making it easy to choose the right gas system length. However, you should pick the correct BRN-4 gas block to match your barrel length (078-000-708 & 078-000-709), and don't forget to pick up the gas block coil pins for your final assembly (430-103-127). The barrels also feature a deep black nitride finish, inside and out, that is easy to clean. They accommodate the 5.56x45mm NATO chambering, allowing for a wide range of commercially available ammunition to function, as well as 223 Remington cartridges. Recommended Barrel Nut Torque: 50-80 ft/lbs.
