Forster's Precision Bushing Bump Dies are different from traditional neck-style or full-length bushing dies. They feature bushing-style dies that have been polished. These dies are designed to size case necks and adjust the headspace length without affecting the case body. The decapping assembly of this die does not include an expander ball, so you can determine the internal neck diameter by selecting the appropriate bushing.
It is important to note that this die is only compatible with Forster bushings and not Redding or Wilson bushings. To select the appropriate bushing size, choose a bushing that is approximately 0.002 inches smaller than the loaded round measures at the case neck. Available bushings come in increments of 0.001 inches, and they must be purchased separately.
