The Forster Case Trimmer is an adaptable reloading tool in the market today. It utilizes a Brown and Sharpe type collet, which is precise, to hold the case. Pilots are crucial to support the neck of the case during trimming. However, the collet and pilot are not included and needs to be purchased separately. This multi-functional trimmer can carry out various tasks such as trimming the length of the case, hollow pointing, neck turning, inside neck reaming, deburring the case mouth and reaming the primer pocket (for military crimps). A Forster Power Adapter (#FPA1000) is obtainable for powering the trimmer via a drill or a power screwdriver. Moreover, Forster Trimmer Cutter w/Shaft 17 cal is mandatory when using .17 cal Pilot.
