The unique profile of Faxon GUNNER line of AR barrels is highly regarded in the AR world. The barrel starts with a Government profile dimension from the extension to the .625” gas block, then becomes a pencil profile from the gas block forward to the front. This unique profile removes weight from the front and keeps material to the rear to maximize heat resistance and minimize whip, thereby ensuring maximum versatility.

Faxon barrels are manufactured 100% in-house from start to finish. They are stress relieved, air-gauge tested, and 11 degree target crowned to ensure superior accuracy. The barrel material is made of 4150 CMV steel and is button rifled. Additionally, it has a barrel caliber of 5.56 and a barrel twist rate of 1:8.
