Our Folding Sights are made of durable materials, such as 6061-T6 aluminum and Type 3 hard coat anodized. These materials guarantee their longevity and reliability. Every sight is adjustable at ½” increments at 100 yards for optimal aiming precision. Also, Geissele guarantees that the adjustments will stay the way the user wants them because the adjustments for the front and rear sights are captive. There are no buttons or triggers to inadvertently bump and cause unwanted changes to the sights nor any mechanism that would cause the sights to deactivate or fold unexpectedly. One only needs to move them up to lock them into position or push them sideways to lock them down. The front post measures 0.080”, and the peep aperture is 0.100”, which are accurate enough to meet precision requirements in competitions and durable enough for personal defense and other related activities.
