Bullets are placed in the box in a down position and are protected by four special fingers. These fingers are designed to prevent most bullet tips from hitting the bottom of the box, preventing tip damage that could change the bullet's flight characteristics.

Extra space is provided between rounds to facilitate easy removal. The convenient fold-down carrying handle is designed so that belted magnum rounds can be carried rim up or down.
