The Small Base Sizer Die for the 223 Remington is designed for bottleneck cases that are typically used in semi-automatic, pump, or lever-action firearms with tight chambers. This sizer die is used to resize cases below SAAMI minimums, which effectively decreases the shoulder and body by a few thousandths and it also removes the primer from the case. Please be aware: this die is not recommended for ammunition used in bolt-action rifles.
