The cartridge case is supported and aligned with the sizing bushing before sizing begins, similar to Reddings Competition Seating Die. During the process, the cartridge remains supported in the tightly chambered sliding sleeve as it moves upward. The resizing bushing self-centers on the case neck while the decapping rod is kept precisely aligned by using the die's internal parts. The micrometer adjustment of the bushing position allows for precise control over the desired amount of neck length to be sized. These dies were designed for Competition Shooters who have already prepared their cartridge cases and do not want to use a sizing button. However, carbide size button kits can be purchased separately. Bushings and shellholders are sold separately.
