The SB Tactical BTFA Buffer Tube Folding Adapter is designed to make your bolt action chassis-system rifle more portable by allowing you to attach a folding buttstock. It can be used on any rifle that has a standard AR-15 buffer tube for attaching its buttstock. The adapter is screwed into the rear of the chassis, where the buffer tube would normally go, and then the buffer tube is screwed into the BTFA.

When installed, the BTFA adds just 1.1" to your rifle's length-of-pull. If you have an adjustable M4 carbine type stock, you can extend the buttstock a little less to compensate for the added length. Shooters with longer arms may appreciate the additional length-of-pull.
