The Sinclair Two-Piece bore guide system allows for the best possible alignment of the cleaning rod to the bore. This is achieved by using a guide within a guide. The first guide body seals the chamber with an O-ring, similar to a standard bore guide, and is inserted into the action. An additional guide slides into the rear of the guide body, and is designed to provide a slip fit for the cleaning rod. The tight-fitting 8" insert is engineered to prevent the rod from flexing and helps to maintain its center, which ensures that it doesn't contact the rifling while cleaning. You'll need to select the guide body to fit your rifle's chambering, and then select the insert with the inside diameter suitable for your cleaning rod. Both the guide body and insert are configured from Delrin and incorporate rubber O-ring seals to prevent solvent from entering the action. Bore guide bodies are available to fit the Remington 700 and other rifles with .700" diameter bolts.
