TSR Series Rings are made from aluminum billet and have been machined precisely to ensure tolerances are held to .0002". This ensures there is maximum contact between the scope and ring, which holds the scope securely against recoil. The rings have a four-screw cap that allows you to align the reticle, tighten the left side of the cap, and then the right side without the scope rotating. The radiused edges and corners of the rings help prevent snagging while also providing an attractive appearance. The large clamp-nut of the rings also allows you to torque them to Mil-STD 1913 (Picatinny) bases.
