The Gen 3 Dog Leg Scope Rail produced by Texas Weapon Systems is designed to mount a red dot sight or scope directly over the receiver. It provides a secure platform for these accessories while retaining the AK's field stripping qualities. The rail features a forward hinged, quick-release cover with rear cam-lock, making it easy to remove with the optic attached.

The rail is compatible with most AK pattern rifles, including those with stamped and milled receivers and fixed, under-folding and side-folding stocks. The adjustable front tab allows it to fit snugly to the individual weapon.
