Introducing the newest handguard addition to Aero Precision, the ATLAS R-ONE. This handguard line is designed with size and weight in mind, making it the perfect choice for lightweight builds. Machined from 6061-T6 Aluminum, the R-ONE handguards are durable and dependable, thanks to the proprietary ATLAS attachment system.

Choose between KeyMod and M-LOK profiles and select from 12" and 15" options (7" and 9" options will be available soon). The Aero Taper Lock Attachment System (ATLAS) is not only functional, but visually appealing. The design uses two mirrored tapered locking nuts to evenly distribute clamping pressure across a custom engineered barrel nut, with the use of a turnbuckle screw. A ratcheting detent provides further security and positive registration during installation.

All hardware mounting parts are included when purchasing an ATLAS Handguard. By design, the even pressure of the ATLAS system avoids handguard distortion during installation, which is commonly seen with other applications.

The KeyMod handguard weighs between 5.12 oz to 8.96 oz, depending on the size, while the M-LOK handguard weighs between 5.22 oz to 9.07 oz. The mounting hardware weighs 4.72 oz, which stays the same across all ATLAS Handguard options.

Aside from its lightweight design, the ATLAS R-ONE features a full top picatinny rail for optional attachments, including a quick disconnect sling socket at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions. This handguard is compatible with low profile gas blocks and features a 1.3" inside diameter and a 1.5" outside diameter. It also works with mil-spec AR15 upper receivers and barrels.

ATLAS Handguards are specifically designed to match flawlessly with Aero Precision's M4E1 Threaded Upper Receivers. They are also compatible with any Mil-Spec AR-15 upper receivers; however, they may not be compatible with billet upper receivers due to indexing tabs. Save when you purchase them as a combo.
