Introducing the ATLAS R-ONE, Aero Precision's newest addition to its handguard lineup. These handguards are designed with size and weight in mind, providing the perfect solution for lightweight builds. Made of 6061-T6 Aluminum, the R-ONE line of handguards increase functionality without sacrificing weight.

The ATLAS attachment system is a proprietary, dependable mounting platform available in M-LOK and KeyMod profiles and in 12 and 15-inch options (7 and 9-inch models are coming soon). The Aero Taper Lock Attachment System (ATLAS) boasts two mirrored, tapered locking nuts that offer even clamping pressure across a custom engineered barrel nut via a turnbuckle screw. Positive registration is ensured by a ratcheting detent while evenly distributed pressure prevents distortion of the handguard often experienced during installation. All hardware mounting parts are included with the purchase of an ATLAS Handguard.

ATLAS Handguards are available in M-LOK and KeyMod versions with different weights depending on size:

The weight of the mounting hardware is 4.72 oz and remains the same for all ATLAS Handguard options.

The ATLAS R-ONE Handguard features a full top step Picatinny rail, allowing for optional attachments, a quick disconnect sling socket at the 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions, compatibility with low profile gas blocks, a slim profile with a 1.3" inside diameter and 1.5" outside diameter, and compatibility with mil-spec AR15 upper receivers and barrels.

These ATLAS Handguards are designed to match perfectly with Aero Precision's M4E1 Threaded Upper Receivers but are also compatible with any mil-spec AR-15 upper receivers. They may not be compatible with billet upper receivers due to indexing tabs. Experience total integration when you purchase as a combo.
