The M&P Barrel Fitting Jig securely cradles the barrel with a cutout and features a channel to guide your file for proper squaring of the barrel lugs. Additionally, the jig includes a setscrew with a nylon tip to prevent any damage to the surface of the barrel while filing. The jig is designed specifically for use with Apex Grade Gunsmith Fit barrels for Smith & Wesson M&P, but can also be used with other aftermarket M&P and Glock barrels. The jig is made of sturdy machined aluminum. We recommend using a ½" safe edge Equaling or Parallel file with the jig. Other tapered files can cause uneven contact points.
