Each Brownells Titanium Bolt Carrier Group includes a carrier machined from 6A1-4V titanium, which is matched up with a solid, durable bolt machined from 9310 tool steel. The reduced weight of this entire unit not only lightens the weight of a rifle, it also lessens felt recoil, since there's less reciprocating mass inside the gun.
To further protect the Brownells Titanium Bolt Carrier Group, each unit is treated with a durable Diamond-Like Carbon coating. The carrier ships completely assembled, including all extractor O-rings and torqued-and-staked gas keys. The BCG is not compatible with full-auto fire-control groups.
