Acra 2-part epoxies are a game changer in terms of strength, hardening time, and their ability to bond to almost any material. Clear drying, and made with a formula of resin and hardener in a 1-to-1 ratio, these epoxies set and cure quickly, producing rock solid, almost invisible repairs every time. These can be used in the workshop, field, or even around the house to permanently repair hundreds of different items which would otherwise have to be thrown away. Unlike traditional adhesives, Acra-Quick is unaffected by moisture or chemicals and forms an incredibly strong bond to metals, woods, ceramics, and almost all plastics.
SUPERIOR STRENGTH: Acra-Quick products offer the same strength and holding power as Acraglas and Acraglas Gel. Once they have set, they stay that way and are virtually indestructible.
FAST SETTING: Acra-Quick doesn't waste your time; it sets and hardens quickly. Quick-setting Acra-Quick 3-Minute Epoxy provides a mixed working time of 2-3 minutes, reaches handling strength in 5 minutes (at 70°F), and reaches full strength in 24 hours. Acra-Quick Gel are 5-minute epoxies with a slightly longer setup time of 3-5 minutes. Full holding strength is reached after 24 hours. If you need additional time to work with the glue, select Acra-20. It's slower-setting than the others with a 15-20 minute working time that allows for some repositioning. You can even color the epoxy with any of our Acraglas dyes. Acra-20 reaches handling strength in 60 minutes, full strength in 24 hours, and it sets up in temperatures down to 0°F.
CONSISTENCY: Acra-Quick 3-Minute Epoxy and Acra-20 20-Minute Epoxy are formulas that are moderately thick, with a consistency similar to model glue. They flow well, fill gaps, and can get into hard-to-reach crevices that block thicker formulas. Acra-Quick Gel 5-Minute epoxies are no-run formulas that won't drip or migrate out. They stay in place, making them ideal for repairs where gravity works against you.

The auger-type mixing tip blends incoming resin and hardener for a perfect 1-to-1 ratio as you apply the gun, so you use only the right amount. When you're finished, just remove and discard the mixing tip and cap the cartridge until next time. You can reuse the heavy-duty application gun as many times as you want.
LITTLE TRICKS: The mixing tip itself holds about 1 teaspoon of mixed Acra-Quick. If you're worried about losing product when you throw away the tip, you can leave it off, squeeze out a little of both parts, and hand-mix for small jobs. Just make sure you clean up the end of the cartridge thoroughly.
