The FastFire sight can be shielded and protected by a lightweight, aluminum mount that features raised "wings". This is useful for combat or competition situations where impact damage may occur. The mount can be used separately or as a secondary sight system, allowing for both-eyes-open target acquisition during CQB. It is designed to fit perfectly with the FastFire sight, and can securely attach with two Allen head screws to withstand heavy recoil. In addition, the mount has an extra-large steel cross-bolt and clamping bar to provide a strong and secure lock on Picatinny and Weaver-style rails. The mount is precision machined and finished with hardcoat anodizing to ensure its durability.
