CCI standard primers are the most commonly called-for primers in reloading recipes and are considered the "bread-and-butter" of reloading. They feature a remarkably clean-burning initiator compound, which leaves primer pockets cleaner and extends the time between pocket cleaning. This is a huge benefit for progressive reloaders. Additionally, they have a larger "sweet spot" for guns that produce off-center strikes, and are easier to seat than older CCI primers.
