Introducing the Daniel Defense RIS III Rail Interface System. Designed with the battle-tested two-piece RIS II rail in mind, utilized by U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM) since 2006, this updated version cuts weight while increasing versatility by implementing the M-LOK attachment system. This results in the same durable aluminum construction with uninterrupted upper rail platform of the RIS II, but now with added value of seven M-LOK attachment points along the handguard and integral QD swivel attachment points on both sides. This rock-solid rail is compatible with accessories using the popular M-LOK attachment system. Other notable features include a free-floating barrel design to increase accuracy, aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum construction, a battle-tested 6-bolt bolt-up system that securely attaches the handguard to the upper receiver, Grade 8 military specification fasteners, and a Mil-Spec Type III hard coat anodized finish in either FDE or Black. Additionally, this product is backward compatible with RIS II Bolt-Up System, utilizing the same barrel nut and bolt-up plate, and it's fully compatible with RIS II lower rail, enabling M-LOK attachment on upper and Picatinny attachment on lower. Get the same design the pros use with the Daniel Defense RIS III Rail Interface System.
