EGW has announced their EVOLVED AR Lower Parts, which they designed to address a market gap for a US made, high quality, corrosion-resistant lower parts kit. The kit includes components such as the Pivot Pin, Take Down Pins, Bolt Catch, Bolt Catch Spring, Safety Lever Detent, Buffer Retainer, Mag Catch, and Mag Catch Button. All components, except the springs, are manufactured in-house from either 4140 tool steel barstock or 7075 T6 aluminum. The components are heat treated locally and coated with QPQ. To prevent rusting, the kit includes stainless steel springs. Trigger, trigger guard, and safety selector are not included, as EGW assumes that users will choose their preferred options.
