EGW red dot sights require installation from left to right, with the muzzle facing forward. The dovetail is tapered progressively to facilitate installation.

To install your Vortex Viper/Venom, Burris FastFire, or Docter red-dot sight on your firearm, remove the rear sight and replace it with an EGW mount. You can easily remove the mount and replace the rear sight anytime you want. The mounting hardware is included.

Follow these instructions for proper installation:

1. Remove the rear sight.

2. Install the EGW Sight Mount in the dovetail.

3. Tighten the set screw (if applicable).

4. Place the red dot sight on the EGW Sight Mount. (Use a small piece of paper between the red dot sight and the mount to facilitate removal and avoid getting Loctite on the sight.)

5. Apply blue Loctite to the mounting screws provided.

6. Torque the screws to 15in/lbs.

The mount comes with 2 Button Head Cap Screws for Vortex Viper and Venom Sights and 2 Flat Head Cap Screws for Burris FastFire and Docter Sights. A 5/64'' allen wrench is required to install the screws.

Note that modifications to your firearm may void the manufacturer's warranty. It's best to have a qualified gunsmith install and verify the mount. EGW assumes no liability for any damage or injury arising from improper installation or use of this product.
