Forster's Precision Bushing Bump Dies have a unique design compared to traditional neck style or full-length style bushing dies. These dies feature hand-polished bushings that size the case neck and adjust the headspace length without affecting the case body. The die does not come with an expander ball in the decapping assembly, so the internal neck diameter is determined by the bushing selected.
It's important to note that this die is only compatible with Forster bushings and is not compatible with Redding or Wilson bushings. When selecting a bushing size, choose one that is approximately .002 inch smaller than a loaded round measures at the case neck. Bushings are available in increments of .001 inch and must be purchased separately.
