GG&G has introduced the AC-30 Accucam QD Mounting Base With Integral 30mm Scope Rings to provide the shooter with more eye relief. This mounting base is tall enough to accommodate large objective lens-long range optics. The Accucam Quick Detach Lever System integrated into the design allows the shooter to quickly remove the scope for the use of other optics as required, while maintaining 1/2 MOA repeatability when reinstalled.

The AC-30 Accucam QD Scope Mounting Base has a length of five inches. The mounting base is four inches long, weighs six ounces due to its skeletonized construction, and has an inside ring to inside ring dimension of 3 3/4 inches.

This QD Mounting Base is manufactured from 6061 T6 aluminum alloy and has a Type III hard coat anodized matte black mil-spec finish. The edges of the quick detach scope mount have been dehorned to protect the operator. It can be quickly installed on a dovetail rail by rotating the Accucam Cam Lever to the locked position and easily removed by rotating the Accucam Cam Lever to the unlocked position. However, the AC-30 QD Mounting Base is not recommended for .50 BMG or lightweight machine guns.
