Hornady® reloading dies are known for their superior craftsmanship and precision machining. They provide accurate reloading with easy adjustments, better alignment, and smooth functioning. Hornady® reloading dies have one of the best internal finishes in the industry, ensuring a lifetime of use without breaking or wearing out from regular use.
The Hornady® Seating Die has an alignment sleeve that comes standard, which other manufacturers usually charge extra for. The Seating Die also includes a seater adjustment screw with lock ring and rubber washer for fine bullet seating depth adjustments, and a built-in crimper for roll crimping without the need for an extra crimp die. The In-line Bullet Seating System holds the bullet, the case neck, and the seating stem in perfect alignment in the floating sleeve before the bullet enters the case neck. This system ensures optimum seating and enhanced accuracy results. The Seater Die also has a retainer ring at the base of the die for easy disassembly and cleaning.
The Hornady® Seating Die includes a Sure-Loc™ lock ring that clamps around the entire die body, applying constant pressure to hold the ring in place and eliminate possible damage from pliers. The die works with all presses that accept standard dies, but does not include a shell holder or other accessories, which are sold separately.
Hornady® Lock-N-Load® Die Bushings are necessary for use with modern Hornady® reloading presses and are available in 2-Pack (item 044094), 3-Pack (item 044093), and 10-Pack (item 044096). Hornady® recommends spraying all metal parts with Hornady® One Shot® Gun Cleaner & Lube (aerosol size options include 10 oz - item 99901 and 5 oz - item 9990).
