By replacing the bolt carrier and sealing the upper receiver, this product enables safe and effective cleaning from the breech, rather than the muzzle. The solid aluminum rod guide helps to prevent throat and chamber damage, while the rubber "O" rings prevent bore cleaning solvents from entering the lower receiver.
