The Hunter X-22 Takedown Forend is designed for use with additional barrels on rifles already equipped with the Hunter X-22 Takedown Stock. Made from high-quality reinforced polymer, the X-22 Takedown Forend features a reversible barrel tray that ensures proper fit for both factory pencil profiles and heavy bull barrels with up to 0.920" outer diameter. The forend also has multiple M-LOK® slots for accessory attachment and an adjustable barrel-tensioning shim that allows you to set the barrel preload (the barrel can be free-floated as well). Additionally, the forend has a dimpled drill point at the bottom for easy installation of sling swivel studs for bipod or sling swivel use.
