The MDT LSS Chassis is designed for optimal tactical versatility, ergonomics, and accuracy of bolt-action rifles. It is engineered to be lightweight and compact, with only the receiver making contact with the V-shaped bedding and recoil lug area on the chassis - this guarantees high accuracy potential and repeatability. The handguard provides plenty of spacing, allowing even bull barrels to free float, while mounting holes on the forend accept Magpul® L5 and L3 rails. The MDT LSS Chassis is a one-piece design that accepts any collapsible AR-15 buttstock for compact versatility or a fixed buttstock using a fixed stock adapter. While compatible with any AR-15 pistol grip, it is highly recommended that grips without a beavertail or that have a bendable (soft) beavertail are used for the best fit.

For the Howa 1500/Weatherby Vanguard Short Action Stocks, MDT Polymer or Poly-Metal magazines are required. For the Howa Mini Action Chassis, factory Howa magazines can be used.
