The MDT LSS Chassis is drop-in ready and designed to be as compact and lightweight as possible. It optimizes the tactical versatility, ergonomics, and accuracy of your bolt-action rifle. The V-shaped bedding and recoil lug area on the chassis only makes contact with the receiver, ensuring high accuracy potential with repeatability. The handguard has plenty of spacing, allowing even bull barrels to free float, and has mounting holes that accept Magpul® L5 and L3 rails. A collapsible AR-15 buttstock can be added to the one-piece MDT LSS Chassis for compact versatility, or a fixed buttstock can be added using a fixed stock adapter. The chassis is compatible with any AR-15 pistol grip, but those without a beavertail, or using a soft (bendable) beavertail are highly recommended best fit.

For the Howa 1500/Weatherby Vanguard Short Action Stocks, MDT Polymer or Poly-Metal magazines are required. For the Howa Mini Action Chassis, factory Howa magazines are used.

The grip and buttstock are not included with the LSS Chassis, allowing for user customization.
