Introducing the MDT HNT26, the first hunting chassis system purpose-built by MDT. This ultra-light weight chassis weighs in at only 26oz (for the complete package, including chassis, buttstock, forend, and grip), making it the lightest hunting chassis system available.

The MDT HNT26 comes as a complete hunting chassis system, including a magnesium alloy base, carbon fiber forend, carbon fiber grip, and foam-filled carbon fiber buttstock. While originally designed for sports and tactical shooting, MDT discovered that their lighter chassis were commonly used by hunters. Thus, they created the HNT26 specifically for hunting.

This chassis system offers all the usual benefits of a rifle chassis, such as v-block bedding, LOP and comb adjustment, AICS magazine compatibility, and more, while remaining incredibly light. The chassis is constructed from an AZ61A magnesium alloy base, with a carbon fiber forend, a carbon fiber grip, and a foam-filled carbon fiber buttstock. The V-Block bedding system keeps the barrel free-floating, while the low profile mag latch integrates seamlessly into the trigger guard. The system can accommodate barrels up to 1.25” in diameter and is compatible with AICS style magazines.

In addition to the above features, the MDT HNT26 offers a foam-filled carbon fiber buttstock, which helps to deaden sound, vibrations, and felt recoil. Carbon fiber components provide a warm to touch feel, while diminish snag points and providing superior ergonomics. Front and rear QD and sling swivel mounts are included, along with a vertically adjustable cheek riser with a soft touch foam pad. The system can be adjusted to a minimum length of pull of 12.5” with the adjustable spacer system. The MDT HNT26 is compatible with most AR grips, but comes with an ultra-lightweight carbon fiber grip just over 1oz. The carbon fiber enclosed forend features MLOK, QD mount, and sling swivel mount, and the entire system features a Cerekote finish.

The MDT HNT26 Chassis is sold as a complete hunting chassis system, and all you need to complete the build is an AICS magazine (designed to have the MDT Polymer SA 3 round magazine mount flush into a hunting chassis).
