The Magpul STR (Storage/Type Restricted) Carbine Stock - Mil-Spec is a replacement buttstock designed for AR15/M4 carbines that use Mil-Spec sized receiver extension tubes. It is a storage-capable version of the CTR®, with improved cheek weld and two water-resistant battery tubes, integrated into a compact, reinforced polymer A-frame design. The shielded operation lever and supplemental friction locking system prevent accidental operation and minimize excessive stock movement, resulting in enhanced weapon stability and accuracy. The SLING POINT VARIETY, with two integral sling loops, a reversible push-button QD sling mount, and a replaceable 0.30" thick rubber butt-pad, also make it ideal for use with body armor or modular gear. This product is made in the USA.

The Magpul STR Carbine Stock is compatible with carbine receiver extension tubes from manufacturers such as Colt, Armalite, S&W, LMT, and others, as long as they are Mil-Spec sized (not included). It also features two water-resistant battery storage tubes located on the left and right sides, each accessible via a hand-removable rubber plug from the rear in any stock position. The shielded release latch prevents snagging and accidental operation, and the supplemental friction lock minimizes accuracy-robbing wobble.

The Magpul STR Carbine Stock is designed with a sloping cheek weld that combines a slim profile with user comfort, resulting in the right balance of cheek weld and comfort. It also offers replaceable 0.30" rubber butt-pad, offering an anti-slip surface and increases impact protection. The product is compatible with Magpul ASAP®, ASAP® QD, and other receiver-mount sling attachments, and weighs 12.3 oz. without the receiver extension.
