The Magpul Pro 700 rifle chassis is a high-quality and versatile platform for short action Remington® 700 actions and other aftermarket 700 footprint actions. It has been designed with precision machining, innovative engineering, and Mil-Spec quality finishes to provide exceptional performance out of the box.
Made in the USA, the Pro 700 is built on a full billet aluminum skeleton with Magpul polymer for environmental comfort, noise reduction, and ergonomics. It is suitable for left and right-handed actions with a simple bolt retainer plate swap, reversible cheek riser, and hinge on the folding version.
The chassis has a Type III hard-anodized machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum V-bedding block, body, adjustment knobs, and forend with high strength injection-molded polymer body covers. It also features durable steel rotation-limited QD sling swivel mounts with Melonite® finish that fit up to 1.5" push button swivels.
The Pro 700 has complete adjustability with features that allow the user to tailor it to their needs. This includes an overall LOP adjustment range of 13.25" - 15.125", comb height adjustment with a secondary locking knob, adjustable butt pad height with a range of 1.33" up and 0.90" down, and a cheek riser that has 3-position fore/aft adjustment of +.375", 0", and -.375" which can also be changed for left or right side usage.
The chassis has an integrated AICS pattern magazine well that is optimized for PMAG® 5 & PMAG® 10 7.62 AC magazines as well as most other AICS pattern short action magazines. The low-profile, anti-snag ambidextrous magazine release is made of Melonite treated steel. There are also M-LOK slots for accessory mounting on the forend (left-6/right-6/bottom-7) and the stock (bottom-2).
The Pro 700 comes with an injection-molded polymer grip with 5-degree forward edge sweep and enlarged palm swell with 7-degree aft edge sweep, with a .75" fore/aft trigger reach adjustment. There is also an additional grip option included with a more aggressive forward sweep (8 degree forward / 20 degree aft edge sweep). The chassis has a large trigger guard that allows for use with gloves and accepts most factory and aftermarket curved or flat triggers.
Optional inline mount for clip-on night vision and thermal imaging devices makes the Pro 700 night-vision compatible. Two 1/4-28x1/2" socket head cap screws are included for use as action screws.
