Our Centerfire Cleaning Rod Guides are specially designed to be inserted into the action instead of the bolt or bolt carrier. They come with a silicone "O-ring" snout that fits into the chamber, effectively sealing the barrel off from the receiver. This ensures that solvents do not leak back into the action area and cause the trigger assembly to malfunction. Our collection of "O-ring" rod guides features over 1000 variations of action/cartridge combinations, machined to fit actions and cartridge families ranging from .17 to .338 caliber. However, some rifle chamberings are not compatible with the "O-ring" style rod guide. For these cartridges, we recommend using our Adjustable Cone Style Rod Guides.

To better cater to our customers' cleaning needs, we have made an upgrade to our Sinclair "O-ring" rod guides. They now include integral solvent ports and are included with every centerfire bolt action rod guide and nearly all AR style rod guides. If you prefer a rod guide without an integral solvent port, please contact us via e-mail or phone, and we'll provide you with a custom rod guide. However, please note that semi-custom rod guides may take 2-4 weeks for delivery and there will be no extra charges.
