Heavy and Compact – The Sinclair Competition Rest boasts of a one-inch, solid steel base plate with a durable granite powder coat finish, which ensures an enormous unit that weighs over 30 pounds and has the lowest center of gravity. Despite its weight, this rest occupies a footprint no larger than other tripod rests available in the market, owing to its compact design. It is nearly twice as heavy as any of our competitors.

Mobile – Unlike other shooting rests that can be awkward and challenging to manage, we have crafted a carry handle that is machined into the base plate, thereby making the Sinclair Competition Rest one of the most mobile rests available for its enormous weight.

Effortless Operation – The Sinclair Competition Rest was designed with the windage operation directly built into the base plate. It comes with dual sets of twin tapered roller bearings that allow for a smooth and non-binding windage operation. The oversized windage control knob was positioned near the rear speed screw, allowing for easy one-handed adjustment. With the aid of the oversized fluted handwheel and a thrust bearing, smooth vertical adjustment is achievable. The rest offers nearly 4-feet of windage adjustment at 100 yards which is adequate for any bench shooting discipline. The adjustability feature is optional for buyers who prefer to adjust windage off the rear bag or do not need the windage adjustable base block.

Ambidextrous Design – The unique construction of the windage unit platform enables both right- and left-handed shooters to use the rest. The post, center column, controls, and windage adjustment are made to disassemble and reassemble on the opposite side, affording a comprehensive mirrored, left-hand use.

Hardware for Hard Wear – The Sinclair Competition Rest features upgraded hardware including a beefed-up center column (1.95” up from 1.375”), threaded post (1” diameter up from 3/4”), leg screws (1/2” diameter up from 3/8”), and a large diameter fluted speed screw – all made from high-grade stainless steel to endure a lifetime of abuse.
