The Hostile Engagement Mount is constructed from 7075-T6 aluminum and has a matte black hardcoat finish. It extends the center of the forward ring 2 inches beyond the edge of the 1913 Picatinny mounting surface. This particular design is ideal for LPVOs, such as the Tomahawk and Arrowhead, that have generous eye relief. The mount uses low profile T25 Torx bolts that provide more clamping power than thumb nuts. Additionally, integrated recoil lugs ensure everything stays securely locked down. The mount features built-in RMR footprint mounts at 45° angles that are threaded 6-32x, allowing for the installation of an offset back up dot sight like the Kingslayer, Liberty or Justice.
