Aero Precision's ATLAS R-ONE is the newest addition to the lineup of Aero Precision Handguards. These are the perfect handguards for your lightweight build as they are designed with size and weight in mind. The R-ONE line of handguards is machined from 6061-T6 Aluminum. The ATLAS attachment system is a proprietary mounting platform that is durable, dependable, and maintains a slim profile while still providing the strength and stability that customers have grown to love from Aero Precision handguards. The ATLAS system avoids distortion of the handguard often seen with current applications during installation. All hardware mounting parts are included with the purchase of an ATLAS Handguard.

The new Aero Taper Lock Attachment System (ATLAS) is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. It features 2 mirrored tapered locking nuts that provide evenly distributed clamping pressure across a custom-engineered barrel nut with the use of a turnbuckle screw. A ratcheting detent further secures the design while providing positive registration during installation.

ATLAS Handguards are available in KeyMod and M-LOK® profiles with 12" and 15" options. (7" and 9" options coming soon). Full top Picatinny rail is available for optional attachments. Additionally, quick disconnect sling socket is present at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions. They are compatible with low profile gas blocks and mil-spec AR15 upper receivers and barrels. The 1.3" Inside diameter and 1.5" outside diameter are the same across all ATLAS Handguard options.

Lightweight by design, the KeyMod Handguard Weights are as follows: 7" - 5.12oz, 9" - 5.92oz, 12" - 7.84oz, and 15" - 8.96oz. On the other hand, the M-LOK Handguard Weights are as follows: 7" - 5.22oz, 9" - 6.03oz, 12" - 8oz, and 15" - 9.07oz. The Mounting Hardware Weight is 4.72oz, which is the same across all ATLAS handguard options.

ATLAS Handguards are designed to match seamlessly with the M4E1 Threaded Upper Receivers. They are also compatible with any Mil-Spec AR-15 upper receivers. However, they may not be compatible with billet upper receivers due to indexing tabs. Save when you buy them as a combo.
