The ACS-L is a streamlined version of Magpul's ACS stock that is both lightweight and adaptable. By eliminating the side storage compartments, the ACS-L provides greater maneuverability while still offering the wide, sloping top for a comfortable cheekweld. The friction locking system is still included, as is the storage compartment in the tail of the stock. A reversible socket for QD pushbutton sling swivels and a 1" sling loop molded in the toe of the stock are also included. The .3" thick rubber recoil pad can be replaced with Magpul Tactical Recoil Pads (sold separately). Mil-Spec (1.14" O.D.) carbine buffer tubes are available for the ACS-L model, but the buffer tube, carbine buffer, receiver extension nut, and carbine-length action spring are not included.
